Wow! I saw the fountains at Bloomingdales and thought nothing of it. It hadn't even occured to me that Flowerbomb hasn't ever had a fountain! Beautiful commercial!
-
It's terribly well-done. And didn't know Bloomies would have them too, thanks!

Fun commercial for a terrible fragrance. Also the ad has little relationship to Flowerbomb the fragrance. Just V&R the brand.
I think these fountains are an excuse to monopolize the headspace of the perfume counters at dept. stores. Now instead of smelling like Angel and Womanity (which my Lord and Taylor's entire first floor does) they'll smell like Womanity's and Flowerbomb's lovechild which will be a hulking pink caviar cavity monster the size of the 50-foot woman in the Viktor & Rolf Eau Mega ads.
-
Oh dear…luckily my Nordstrom doesn't seem to smell all that much like Angel, despite the Angel fountain. It has a very pink smell, in fact, it might already be smelling like Flowerbomb, even without the fountain.

I don't like Flowerbomb, but I do admire the concept some of the FEW different lines have of a refillable bottle. It always seems so wasteful to just toss a pretty and empty bottle. It is an eco-friendly option for sure. The Flowerbomb bottle is very pretty. I'm glad they are doing it and I wish more lines did the same.

Yes, I agree. I often wonder about the economics of it tho'. Do refills make or lose money for the house, or is it about the same? Do they make more money out of the chance to sell a new bottle every time to every consumer, or do they make more money in the long run out of re-fills because the customer, knowing that a re-fill costs a bit less, keeps going back for more?
Hate Flowerbomb with a passion.

I was just about to mention this then I saw you already have it I saw it first on V&R facebook page.
I have the Flowerbomb refillable, it's my No1 favourite I'm just sad it's now being mass produced and sold at every department store and now with the refillable fountains it will be even more wide spread because they should charge less to get it refilled, that the whole point of the concept.
I don't know if they have sales assistants manning the Thierry Mugler fountains but I hope they have staff on the V&R ones. and they should only fill up authentic V&R refillable bottles, not any old bottle a customer brings in, like an empty shampoo bottle or something.
I bought the refillable gift set about a year ago from Harvey Nichols, it was notoriously difficult to get hold of. they then sold the 100ml refill on the shelves but they don't now. so I thought the refillable was going to be a limited time thing. I'm glad V&R have recognised their loyal customers.
they currently have a fountain in Debenhams Oxford Street London
and Fenwick Newcaslte and are planning more locations.

Thanks, looks like there are more of them than I knew about — not surprising

I don't know why everyone on here hates flowerbomb except for me.
I do agree that it's too commercial and if it was more edgy it would sell just as well.I read on a blog somewhere that the fountains are limited edition. please tell me they're permanent.
-
Sorry, I don't know if they're permanent or not. But the stores won't keep them if they don't sell, right?

I've loved Flowerbomb since it first came out. N othing would make me happier than to smell it on women (or men!) wherever I go. I turned my sister-in-law onto it, and happily share it with anyone else interested. Refillable bottles and fountains spreading the scent just mean I don't have to worry about it being discontinued anytime soon, wich is a WIN in my book! Too many good ones are d/c-ed.
