This Oracle Database 12cR2, 18c, and 19c New features for administrators' course is designed to provide knowledge of how to use new non-container database features that have been introduced in Oracle Database 12cR2, 18c, and 19c. Delegates will acquire knowledge of how the enhanced features of Oracle Database 12cR2, 18c, and 19c can be implemented at their own site.
This training course will teach how to install oracle database 18c/19c software with OUI and create a non-container oracle database 18c or 19c Database. This course will teach delegates how to upgrade an Oracle Database 18c or 19c database and migrate a database to 18c/19c with data pump. They will also gain an understanding of new database management features and enhancements to unified auditing. In this course, delegates will learn schema and data management new features and SQL*PLUS history commands and the SQLcl utility. They will also learn about new SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN and availability features.
This 3-day course explains data redaction and data encryption enhancements. Delegates will acquire knowledge of performance tuning, data pump, SQL*Loader and external table. They will also learn about SQL tuning enhancements using the optimiser statistics advisor and SQL join processing. This course also describes data guard, active data guard, and the broker. Furthermore, they will learn how to use the in-memory column store new feature for increasing SQL performance.
